Eugen Bleuler, né à Zollikon (canton de Zurich, en Suisse) le 30 avril 1857 et mort dans la même ville le 15 juillet 1939, est un psychiatre suisse. Il est connu pour avoir inventé et introduit dans le vocabulaire psychiatrique les termes de schizophrénie et d'autisme.

On compte notamment parmi ses assistants Carl Jung lui même (de 1900 à 1909)

Sous le terme de “ Psychiatrie Spirituelle ”, on désigne une qualité d’approche de la souffrance humaine, qui ne soit plus fragmentaire mais globale et intégrative. Or, dans une telle démarche d’intégration, il n’est pas possible de dissocier la dimension spirituelle (qui inclu le paranormal) et le fonctionnement psycho-corporel.

En fait, le rôle de la psychiatrie spirituelle est de montrer comment les divers plans de conscience s’articulent, et de faire apparaître les rouages intérieurs jusque là invisibles (invisibles non pas parce qu’ils sont cachés mais simplement parce que notre oeil est obscurci).

Je pourrais dire aussi qu’il s’agit de percevoir la santé derrière la souffrance, et d’aider les gens à intégrer cette santé première.

En fait, à l’origine de la souffrance et de la maladie, il n’y a qu’une confusion entre ce que nous sommes vraiment et ce que nous croyons être. De cette confusion naît évidemment un puissant conflit intérieur qui sécrète à son tour ce que nous appelons la “ maladie ”. Celle-ci n’est donc que le résultat d’une perturbation des flux harmonieux, la conséquence d’un état interne de dispersion que l’on ne peut combattre qu’en incitant le patient à poser son attention.

Ainsi, dans l’optique de la Psychiatrie Spirituelle, la santé réside au niveau d’une fluidité relevant d’une certaine qualité d’attention.
