FIRST month of embryo's life, man and animals looks the same

(English) During the first month of its life, the human embryo looks like that of any other higher animal, such as a cat, dog, or pig, for example. Then, during the second month, it slowly assumes human features. It starts to develop a recognizable face, as well as arms, legs, fingers, and toes. Between its legs, the primitive beginnings of sexual organs become discernible, although they are still undifferentiated at this point (i.e., they are the same for both male and female). When the entire growing organism finally becomes clearly identifiable as human, it leaves the stage of the embryo and enters that of the fetus.

(Français) Pendant le premier mois de sa vie, l'embryon humain ressemble à celui de tout autre animal, comme un chat, un chien ou un porc. Ensuite, au cours du deuxième mois, il prend lentement ses traits humains. Il commence à développer un visage reconnaissable, ainsi que bras, les jambes, les doigts et les orteils. Entre ses jambes, les débuts primitifs des organes sexuels deviennent perceptibles, même s'ils sont encore indifférenciées à ce stade (c'est à dire qu'ils sont les mêmes pour les deux hommes et femmes). Lorsque l'organisme tout entier devient finalement de plus en plus clairement identifiables en tant qu'être humain, il quitte la scène de l'embryon et entre dans celle du fœtus.
